Ride Studio based in Buckinghamshire provide professional audio recording & production services to bands & artists across the UK.

The Studio
Ride studio offers the latest in digital audio production. The set up is based around the industry standard Pro-Tools and with professional outboard equipment such as Neve & API we are able to create a product that equals major studios.

The Producer
The Producer - Pete Hutchings is the main studio producer here at ride. He has produced many bands as well as writing and producing songs for numerous artists. Pete is a very accomplished guitarist himself having been in a number of different bands, making performance in musical shows, and was in the final of the guitar heros competition when he was 16. Presently Pete is also teaching guitar.

In the studio Pete has most recently worked with Julian Emery and Jason Perry on Mcflys latest album 'Motion in the ocean'. He is a studio engineer at The Chapel studios working very closely with Steve Williams who is a very acomplished musician that has worked with names like Sting, Britney Spears and Eric Clapton. All of this experience is used to make Ride what it is. Not just a recording studio, but a production facility.

Production
Producing the right sound can be critical to the success of your product and eventually your career. Ride Studio specialises in working with bands and artists to create a product which truly reflects their potential in a clear and professional format.

Recording
Ride Studio has recently opened the Altwood recording facility which offers 4 live rooms and a main control room. The large rooms which offer enough space for an entire band are acoustically treated with two suited for ambient live sounds and the other two perfect for softer sounds and vocals. Ride Studio also offer full use of The Chapel Studios in London and other Thames Valley area recording venues.

Editing
One of the key parts of a good track is a tight mix. We have access to editing software which enables us to finely tune your performance whether it be on timing or pitch, if required. Programs such as Melodyne for that perfect 4 part harmony chorus or Multi-Track Beat Detective (Pro-Tools) for tightening up even the tightest of drum performances give us editing capabilities of that usually only found in major recording studios. Having a mix that has been professionally edited is the corner stone of any good track.

Session Development
Whether your a writer that wants to develop some songs or a singer putting together a demo band, Ride Studios can provide real or synthesised backing including guitar, drums, keyboards, and many other instruments developing a complete sound and making your recording sound as professional as possible.
